About Us
We are a friendly and welcoming club catering for children of all ages and skill levels. We aim to provide a safe enjoyable environment for children and young people to experience and develop their football. We run junior teams from u6’s to u16’s and the club is affiliated with the Lancashire FA and compete in a variety of leagues across Greater Manchester every weekend.​ We play to learn, not just win and enjoyment for players and longer term development are the most important aspects our coaches concentrate on.​ All our coaches are DBS checked and suitably qualified to working with children. We have appropriate adult to child ratios so as to ensure children have equal time to focus on development and players get appropriate coaching.

We are delighted you have chosen to continue your football journey with us, whether your child is progressing from the garden, street or another team.​ Whalley Range AFC Juniors currently has a number of youth teams, ranging from U6’s upwards.​ We provide a safe, enjoyable environment for children and young people to experience the joys of football. The club is Accredited with the FA Chartered Standard and we want are continually improving the standard and variety of coaching we are able to offer the players. ​Enjoyment for the players and their long-term development are the most important aspects our coaches concentrate on. Therefore we ask all our players to experience different positions on the pitch and we strive to provide equal play time for all.
